Just saw on CBS news that Halliburton is accused of charging $100 to do 15 pounds of laundry for soldiers in Kuwait. That comes to...... $6.67 per pound, and I thought my WDF rate was high :)

If I had to go to Kuwait, or anywhere else near there, I would want to charge a hell of a lot more than $6.67 / pound. Then again, I bet my attendants would go there for less than that.

You couldn't get me there for $10.00 a pound. They can have it.

Just a thought, I bet most of the clothing could be bought again new at about $6.67 a pound.
Don't wash it, buy it again !
My brother-in-Law just got back from Kuwait (worked for Halliburton). When I talked to him about this laundry thing he said that him and his guys always did their own laundry cause when they would send it in to have it done it never came back the same color.
I agree that $10 per pound would be too low for even me. You think you are having a bad day when you find an ink pen exploded in your pocket, you might find a grenade over there!

If they threw in a french fold it was well worth the price.
The French always fold in Kuwait (or Iraq etc. etc. :-)
