It varies in different parts of the country and you never said how much work you are willing to do yourself but here in the northeast I'd say you are looking at $150 -$200 k.

I can give you some rough quotes from work I recently did in one of my stores: Location is in RI.
1. New 4000# concrete pad 20' by 12' dowled into existing concrete floor every 12" on center with #8 re-rod tied in the pins and 8 x 8" road mesh sandwiched in between. Cost $1700.00
2. 2' x 4' drop ceiling tiles with T rods in a 40' x 30' store installed by owner $1200.00
3. New 8" x 8" ceramic tile skid resistant floor in an area roughly +/- 1600sq ft $5500.00 compared to vinyl tile 12" x 12" in the other store (1200 sq ft) $3000.00
4. Bolt, level and grout 16 Wascomat Gen. 4 machines. $1600.00 Could have done it myself but got lazy.
My advice is do the work you can do yourself. Hire qualified people to do the rest. Avoid the GC only if you know construction basics - they will take 10% for making phone calls to there subs. Thats all I have to say.
