Hi:

What is the average discount from manufacturers list I might expect when buying several new washers. I'm looking at 6 - 8 tops or 18-20# front loads? (Net of install). Is a disposal fee for the old equip typical?

Any specific brands to avoid?

Whew, squeezed 3 questions into this one!!

Thanks,

Ken

ask a few dealers, you may get a better price.
Steel is expensive right now.If you can find a junk dealer in your area, they will take your machines for free.

20-25% is the norm but with sprinkle of low financing for the first year - could entice, swaye your decision. you shouldn't have to pay too much for removing the old equipment. recycling places will pay you to for metal. If you have all tops you can completely tear down the machine and dump it right in your dumpster - a little at a time ;-)

Skipped the salesman, and spoke with a secretary at the manufacturer.
