I have done the research on this board that shows electrical loads for phase three ops.

the mat I am looking at has 3 phase 400 amp service. My question is this, with my equipment mixture (shown below), can I add 10 double stack dryers no problem? Also, I need to have the new stacks on a wall that has no gas or electrical at this time. If I get rid of the smaller stacks, do I need to rip out the electrical and gas plumbing for them? Should I or can I just leave them in? space is not an issue. Thanks K

Did I mention how great this forum is?

You're joking right? You can probably build another store you have with the juice available. You probably aren't going over 200 amp right now.

No really you have plenty of reserve. BTW do you have an AC unit? Those will suck a lot of current!!!

10 stack 30# stack distributed evenly over the 3 phase line should only use about 40 to 60 amps depending on make/model. I say you have plenty of room to grow.

Most likely the gas line for those small dryers are going to be too small for adding 30# stacks. What is the size of the main line feeding these small dryers?

As for electrical most 30# stacks require a 20 amp breaker, dexter 30 amps.
So you will probably need to change the electrical.

Venting will be another consideration. Both exhaust and makeup air.

Nothing is simply!!!
