What sizes of front loaders would you consider for a laundry remodel?

Between 30's, 40's or 60's. Would you consider all three, just 30's & 60's or 40's and 60's? Do you think the customers would get confused or would there me problems putting all three in. I question if all three were there, then would they look so close in size that the customer might confuse them.

I would stick with 2 sizes. I have 18 pd neptunes and 40 pd dexters and the mix has worked well for me.

It would depend on your competition. Lets say you get a 25 # washer and your comp has an 18 or 20 and you price yours 25 cents higher than your comp. Guess where they are going to go. Most look at price first then ask questions later. Even though the quarter more is larger washer people would not see it that way.

Keep it simple and on the same playing field. Apples to apples.

I agree completely. Just wondering what you all thought. It's simple to stay with two sizes and its what two competitors are at, but I can't convince my customer of this.

In my eyes this is not something to ask customers. They have a hard time with the concept of differant size machines. You know a lot more about them. They will use what is there with in reason.

My customer is the laundry owner. He is redesigning his laundry and replacing the current equipment.

You could put them in different areas of the store to minimize any confusion. For example, I have my 25's up front and my 40's in the back and people understand the size differences because the machines are right next to each other.
Also, if you had some 60's I don't imagine you would have that many, so it wouldn't be hard to distinguish these from the other machines.

I have 20# Neptunes, 35# Milnors and 50# Unimacs. I got rid of all my 25# SQ. They didn't get much use and as soon as the Neptune entered the picture, it was an obvious thing to do.
