Has anyone ever used, seen used or generally heard of Liquid Trend?
The dist. I buy my soaps and janitorial supplies from asked me if I'd like him to leave some, as it was on sell for a considerable discount.

He told me that alot of laundries he sells to, use it in their WDF, especially for lighter soiled items, or things being washed with Clorox, Clorox 2 or Oxyclean. He "says" it's really good.

I've only seen customers using it, but hey.. some of them will use anything.

Any thoughts or knowledge on this matter?
I got a free bottle to try... if I get that brave

Thanks!

I'll have to give it a shot. What's the worst that could happen? (don't answer that! :D )

Anyone else ever used it?

I have used liquid Trend to wash my own clothes, and it works very well.

I did a load of my personal dress shirts with it this evening, and it worked pretty good. Not great for stains, but they were very clean over all.

I wonder if there is something that can be added to boost stain removal... Maybe Clorox 2 would handle that.

Anyone had any luck getting very dirty jeans clean with it? We see sooooo many dirt coated jeans at the store.

This stuff could not clean a mud stain. It's garbage

Don't wast you money. Use Tide or Gain but don't you use garbage to wash your clothes or drop offs it sucks. You will lose customers and the clothes come out like CRAP !!!!

Have a nice day LOL

Yes, good quality detergent is a must. Another good detergent for the $$ is Era - like Gain, but less pricey than Tide. Do not to foget to add the Downy liquid fabricsofter - Truly the BEST fabric solftener in the business.

Not to worry, Liquid Tide is tried and true product, and after alot of hunting around, has earned a permenant place in my laundry. We use the Clean Breeze scent, and match it with Downy clean breeze. Everything is always yummyishly clean and great smelling.

I do think Trend could be used on items that are very very lightly soiled, or ones you'll be bleaching. As to whether it's enough of savings to justify the trouble of stocking two detergents, sorting clothes according to detergent, assessing the different soil levels, ect.... I dunno. At any rate, I'll not be doing anything that deflects from the quality of my finished product. WDF makes me too much $$$ for me to loose customers! :D

Just a thought that came to mind....

What about a fourm dedicated to WDF?

Since it's an area that we're all finding to be very profitiable, perhaps we could do a forum dedicated to it?

There are a lot of things we can do and will do.

This cost money too.

I really do appreciate all these ideas, But right now please use the search link.
But that does not mean this won't happen either.

Thanks and please keep up the GREAT work of questions and answers

In a few weeks or days I hope to make a upgrade. Our techs have not come up with what is acceptable to Jonathan yet.

and our out side tech ain't cheap ;(

Thank you

I suggest that you stick to what works for you. Liquid Tide has always done a great job so we stick with what works.

Maybe the Trend was on sale because Purex was sold off by Dial to Henkel and they are discontinuing that brand? I think Purex works marginally well -- at least your clothes smell nice -- and Trend is a bargain basement version of Purex, so I would be twice as dubious using it. Boost it with some Clorox II and it will probably be fine.
