How old are they? pros and cons? How do they compare to other brands you have or had. Ease of repair.

thanks

PeteF on this board is an IPSO owner - swears by them (or was it at them?)
seriously, it's made me want to get the 12lb ones anyways.
They're supposedly built like a tank, too.

I have been looking into IPSO too. I am thinking one bank of 12 pound IPSO's @ $1.50 and one bank of Neptunes @ $2.25 I already have some of the neptunes and already have 40 pound dexters It seems like a good mix. My other place is just Neptunes and Dexters it does work well though. The IPSO dealer up here in the Northeast is slow so that worrys me a little.

Pete, Do you know how many gallons of water the 12 pd machine uses per load? My paper work they sent says nothing.

Is it true that one full washing cycle for IPSO cycle is 50 miuntes? Or my distributor does not know what is talking about?

my cousins machines are abot six years old, he loves them my next store is going to be all ipso. the biggest problem was the door handle but they changed that. The machines are super clean and very easy to work on. He has had no bearing jobs at all and he has a busy store in NYC. I am working with the same dealer in pa/nj, it is asnlaundrygroup.com. I never heard about the longer cycle for wash they take 30 min like rest, maybe you dont have enough water pressure.

17 gallons for the 12# IPSO, 1 wash, 3 rinse. I have had very little trouble, I had planned to buy them for the store i am doing now. However, the Maytag turbo 18 hardmount uses 17 gallons ( 1 wash, 2 rinse) is a little larger and costs more. I opted for Maytag for this store, so no IPSO, but they were 2nd place. If the dealer was closer I may have changed my mind.
