SPRING BREAK-EASTER slowdown?

Have any of you experienced a sharp slowdown the past 2 weeks?

One local owner assured me it was due to Spring-Break/Easter vacations, and business would bounce back. Hasn't bounced yet. :/
I'm close to a university, but still most of my customers are workers/urban professionals/etc. not students.

I don't know how it is in USA but in Romania everybody is doing "before Easter cleaning". This period should be full with comforters wash and everything.
During Easter and cuople of weeks after I think it is normal that business slow down comparing to previous period.
That was only a guess.

Last two weeks have been average for me. March was average month, But Jan and Feb were up almost 20%. I have owned my place just a year now.

I have been down the past two weeks after record breaking Jan, February and March. Summer is usually slow for me, but the slow down doesn't usually occur to mid June. I am down about 10% over last years numbers. Not too happy.

If there are no real reasons, such as road work, a mat built or remodeled in your market area, big local employer layoffs, then nothing to worry about. I have had weeks I swear someone had the key to all my machines.
my 3 mats are 1 up alot, 1 down slightly, 1 up slightly first 2 weeks April. Last year it was 1 down, 1 up alot, 1 about the same. Overall so far this year it is up.

My business has remained about the same with a little slower on Sunday, but a pick up during this week.
