View Full Version : Loadstart III Problem-Help Needed
I have a dryer that will accept coins fine and start up when teh push to start button is activated. Then after the dryer has been running a while a customer will open the door to check the clothes. When they close the door and press the strat button the drum move at all aeven though the light is on showing time remains. With the door open if you manually press the door switch and manually turn the drum to get it going and close the door it will strart working like normal. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Huebsch tech support didn't seem to be much help

When I have had the problem it seemd the motor was going dead. Try the capaxiter maybe you get lucky, it worked once for me.. Be sure to read the thread on this same subject and the electrical warnings that are posted. Drain the capacitor before touching it and don't work on any TV's..
Thans guys, I'll check it out today, and head all safety warnings. I appreciate the help

LOL,
My spelling was a little off...
Long day yesterday!
I checked the capacitor and found that one of the connections to the terminal was barely conencted. It probably rattled lose over time from the motor. I reconnected it and now the problem is gone. Thanks for all the posts.

Sorry for the ribbing on your spelling! My apologies. I couldn't resist. I spell fairly well, but I misstype quicker than I can spell.

I have the same problem!!. However I changed the complete motor with a new capacitor attached to it and it didn't help. I had a tech come and he told me it was the capacitor anyway. He tested a capacitor I had on an old motor and said it was good, and he left. I put this old capacitor on the new motor and still have the problem. HELP!!!!
