4 year old top won't stop filling. I've installed new pressure switch and timer. Worked properly for about 2-3 washloads and then same problem. Even swapped out water valves. What else could it be?????

pin hole in the hose from the tub to the pressure switch.

I am not sure how the GE's air tube looks or connects to the outer tub but if it is similar to the Maytags or most front loaders then first check for a pinhole like Outlaw said, then...

I would also check the tube for buildup of soap scum inside the hose at the place where it connects to the tub. Over time it builds up there and causes erratic operation of the level switch.
I assume it is attached by a clamp of some sort. Remove tube completely and run compressed air into the tube and/or hot water while gently squeezing the hose to loosen it up.

It is also possible that the tube is not tight enough around the nipple coming off the of the level switch, If necessary use a small clamp to secure the tube to the level switch.

Outlaw, you hit the nail on the head. Today i finally got my pressure switch hose (took 3 months) from one of the "wonderful" sponsors on this website. That fixed the problem and yes there was a small hole in the old hose. Thanks!!!!!
