Had to change it, as it was hurting my eyes!!!
Super80, it would be helpful if you could tell us the model # of the dryer so we can guide you better. Also please be more specific in describing the problem with your dryer. You say it "stops working". Do you mean stops turning after a certain time.

Sounds like a motor problem but it could also be thermostat(s). It would be helpful if you told us what is model # of the dryer.

There isn't any one thing that is the answer in this case so you are going to have to do some investigation first.
I am leaning toward the motor as being the problem but I would do the following check before doing anything.
Remove the rear access panel where the ignition box is. With a voltmeter, attach it to the following connection.
Yellow and gray wires coming from the motor. When the dryer is running you should get 120 volts. If you get 120 volts at those 2 points and the dryer has stopped then your motor is bad. It will probably we wicked hot to the touch also.
If the dryer stops and you don't get 120 volts over there then you have something breaking the path to the motor which could be several things including a loose wire , thermostats, computer, connectors.
Which computer to you have, the older long one with pushbuttons or newer short square one with membrane switch?
Again, without you doing some investigation it will be impossible for us to give you an accurate diagnosis of the problem.

MSK, the only thermostat that will kill the motor on that dryer is the thermal overload in the motor itself, all other thermostats are in line with the heat circuit only.
Also, the drum rollers can bind up and make the motor work hard enough to overheat and shut off.

Outlaw, yes you are correct there isn't a thermostat inline with the motor circuit on the JTD32DG. I replied to that message at about 5 in the morning and wasn't awake yet.
The JT32DG did however have a thermostat in the motor dircuit and at 5 in the morning there isn't much difference between the JTD32DG and the JT32DG, LOL
