Someone told me that Continental is coming out with "regular" coin-op versions of their Express line, and I know that Ipso is thinking about reducing the prices on their softmount line to make them more attractive to owners. Anyone else hear this?

Have any of you looked at the commercial soft mounts for your stores? I'd gladly put my washer prices up by .50 if it cut time in the dryer.

Here in the Atlanta area, one of the gas companies is running a TV ad showing a guy in a 'mat that is going dryer to dryer feeling the hot dry clothes. The dryers are Wasco/ADC 's, but the washers are the Gen 5 hi extract soft mounts. Anyone know where this laundry is located?

Hello Peter,

I currently have two Continental Auroras soft mounts in my store. They work very well, very high extract cuts down on drying time. Continental has a web site you can post problems or questions to, they answer with a phone call within a day. I was very impressed with their PR.

continental support is great....but softmounts unless absolutely can't do without and you don't have a choice to install hard-mounts and you have thought about once more, you can then buy them.... Oversudsing is going to be a huge prob. with your clientelle - granted the extract speed is good....
