Who lost power?

How long were you down?

We lost power at about 4:15 est on Thursday and closed for the day within an hour. We had power restored about 20 hours later so we lost a days business, but I think we'll make it up in the days to come.

I lost power when I got married.

As for my machines, luckily Chicago did not get hit.

You have to start taking them apart to open the door.
Does ALL new equipment now have a feature that after 10 minutes or so of no power, the door will unlock itself? How long ago was this designed?

Yes, must new equipment have a door unlock time delay of about 1 minute or so after power is removed. Some use Bi-metal actuator to hold the door lock mech closed, while others use a capacitor/delay relay to store a charge and release this charge after the required delay into the unlock coil.

And I also have lost power since I got married/kids. LOL
