I have new Wasco TD3030's (10 months now) and they are developing a yellow discoloring and the paint is cracking around the tumbler where the door rubber covers the face of the machine.
What can be done to stop/correct this?

Cracking paint is most definately under warranty. I would contact the distributor that you bought it from and let them replace them.
Are you saying the ring is around the door gasket on the front panel. Is you air flow and venting OK and is the front panel real hot to the touch when in use?
That is one of the reasons why ADC puts a layer of insulation between there baskets and front panels to keep the painted front panel from getting to hot.
It could be just a bad paint job but either way get them to replace it.
Good reason to get Stainless fronts.

Does anyone have anything good to say about the wasco dryer. Sounds like a lemon so far.
I still think they look nice !
Had my 8 about 14 months.
They heat well, all except the one that hasn't worked for 2 months (first an E08 error, and then an E18 error. (of course all of this is always the fault of not big enough vents out or in, funny how it just affects this ONE dryer.)
I check for yellow fronts tommorrow morning.
Maybe that is the sign they're turning into lemons :-)

I bought four TD 30/30 and will not buy again. I am planning to replace 9 other old stacks but I will go with ADC. It will take Wascomat another 3-5 years to redisgn and make it more stable.
I have had E99, E08, E18 on my 6 months old Wascos. Also had burnt Ignitor in one and burnt wire terminal block in another as well as Glass from the door pop out. My 14 years old Heubsch are more stable than these Wascos.
Does Lemon Law apply to Dryers? I would love to return them and buy ADCs.

I ahve a similar problem with SQ 300 stacks. I was told it's caused by the vaprized softener from dryer sheets coming in contact with the paint.
