View Full Version : Do Roach and Bug lites work?
I bought a pack of bug lites at Sams Club about 6 months ago, (the name escapes me). You plug them into an outlet and it is suppose to get rid of most crawling and flying insects. Now i still have an exterminator come once a month, but for some reason it seems as though my bug population in the Laundromat has decreased substantially. Last summer we had a problem with carpenter ants in our kitchen at home, so i put one in the kitchen, and we have not seen one carpenter ant all summer. Could this really be the answer to the roach control problem in Laundromats? Has anyone else ever used these?

I bought it from Costco. It didn't seem to help. I still have all the bugs that were always there. I plugged one in the basement and one in the kitchen.

I have not tried the plug in's the last time I tried plug in's (air freshners) the all got stolen.
Best way to kill a roach is step on it.
If you can't catch them all, try this
make a paste of boric acid powder (found in the drug store) and corn syrup. stick little bits of that paste in out of the way places , or places you know they exsist, for the ants and roaches to eat
Onther variation is shortning, sugar, flour and boric acid
Pete,
Forget the secret potions, the bug lites are 6 for 19.99 at Sams Club. They work great for me. Maybe the Jersry Roaches are more sensitive than roaches in other parts of the country.
