The model # 430650. Does anyone know where to get parts for these. I have been combining old units to make refurbished ones. These valves are very expensive. It is usually the high fire "pin" that breaks.

Why change the whole valve when you can change the coils?

I was saying the same thing myself. He saying something about a pin breaking. I assume the pin he is talking about is the "plunger" in the center.

I have yet to have coils fail. It is always one of the 3 plungers, which are not universal, that fail. If there is someone who isn't comfortable rebuilding their own valves, I would gladly accept old valves.
The first plunger from the gas inlet (on top) is a main valve that shuts off the gas completely.
The second plunger from the inlet (on top) is the low fire.
The third plunger from the inlet (on the end) is the high fire.
off to see if at35 bearing is rebuilt

How does the plunger go bad?

The shaft of the plunger/pin breaks. Can't be repaired, by me anyway! Way too fine for this old plumber.
