Do all washers come with an advance button feature today or is it only some makes and models. The gen 4's do not have an advance button, but all of our Huebsch machines do, with the exception of the 80lb model. It would seem to me that this feature should be standard.

The gen 6 wasco does, the Maytag/primus does also.

You could wire in a advance button very easy on the Gen 4.

We will be looking at washers at the show, and I really like the advance feature. It is very helpful when items need an extra rinse or spin is needed.

I wonder why the 80lb we have does not have this feature?

Kitty,

I have new SQs and they all have advance buttons, including the 80s. I'm surprised that your Huebsch 80s don't have them since they are from the same manufacturer.

The Gen4 has an advance "button"! Just touch a screw driver to the back two contacts on the right hand side when you are standing infront of the timer. It will advance the machine - use an insulated screw driver ;~)

If you are interested in adding to the SQ/Huebsch washers an advance switch you can attach it to the following connections on the Universal Input Connector between wire J9-3-6 and J9-3-9.

You can buy on /off switch with lock and key ,put it in the Wascomat's front or back pannel,so only the people with key can advance the washers since some Wascomat can start and advance with the 2 points connect ,I will not add any switch without a lock, otherwise you will give free wash to your smarter custemers. Most electric stores sell those switch,I put those switches in 2 of my Wascomat, they work well.
