How happy/satisfied are you with your coin laundry investment (time, money) overall?

If you are a multiple store owner consider your overall investment.

Vote according to whatever satisfaction means to you, financial, time spent (or not spent), customer service level, a combination.

Basically, has it been worth the hassle for you?

Interesting poll,

I would just warn that those unhappy with the investment aren't still here to vote :-)

I think it would be interesting to see how long people who voted have had their stores....it might be relevant to their answers. I have had laundries for about 25 years. It's been OK but I would have to think long and hard about doing it all over again, especially now (higher utility prices, etc). I'm looking forward to selling out in a few more years. I think that there are other ways to make the same profit that are easier. One thing is that no matter how good you've got it, it can always change if somebody else decides to move in or your landlord gets greedy, etc.

I expected that most board members would be the above average crowd interested in bettering their stores by showing up here and discussing laundry topics eventualy determining a profitable fate for their operations.

Funny, it is the story's of the "Soaps' out there that interest me. I believe we have many very seasoned owners that have alot to say about the industry that have never said a word. These folks are the ones that learned the laundry lessons the hardway, working, sweating and by learning by the mistakes made. This group is not the easiest to gain knowledge from. It would be nice to hear the tales of the trade from the really seasoned laundry men/women. I for one would soak up the reading.:)
