How does this work?

I see some Mats for sale that have dry cleaning drop off also.How does this work?Do you set up with a dry cleaning plant and then take a load every evening and pick up in the morning?How much can you expect to get for this?

I do not have a Drop off Drycleaning but what they do is they hook-up with Dry Cleaner. In some cases Drycleaner Picksup and Delivers the clothes, in Others Mat Owner does the delivery & pickup. It depends on your deal with drycleaner. Many Mats get 40 to 50 % split on Drycleaning.

Check into Drop Off thoroughly before you start. One thing to consider is that the dry cleaner is paid as he does the work for YOU. You in turn have to wait for the ultimate customer to come back to pick up their cleaning and pay for it. You have the risk of "bad debts" for cloths that are never picked up, but for which you have paid the expense of the cleaner.

Good record keeping is essential, as is getting full customer details ( especially full name and tel. no. ). If you can get paid by the customer in advance, you're ahead of the game, but make sure when they come back a year later you have their garment available and spotless!

Others on the board can give you a lot more help, but make sure you knows all sides before you start this. Also, talk to several of the dry cleaners in your area to see which one not only gives the best deal, but does the best at cleaning the cloths.
