View Full Version : 3 push starts
For those of you who have older machines with coin slides, that you plan to keep for a while longer, does anyone use 3 push starts or have you thought about using 3 push starts as a need to increase prices in the future arises.
I know the drop coin systems are out there but they seem exensive. I've aslo seen the vertical fifteen for about a third of the drop coin . What are peoples palns regarding price increases and using slides to start

I have old Wascomat machines. The sliders that I use (I could get you the manufacturer name later) hold 8 quaters in a row and the trigger mechanism on the inside allows me to have any number of pushes. All I have to do is adjust the trigger from 1-push to 2-push to 3-push etc.
Check on the inside mechanism for this adjustment.
I am aware of the ability for it to start on multiple pushes. The ? was whether owners had thought about 3 push starts, versus an after market coin drop, a vertical 15, or buying new equipment

On our wascos we did a two push several years ago until we converted to the coin drops, definately the cheaper route.

I have 2) 30lb and 1) 50lb Wascomats using a Keltner. I would never consider operating them on multi-push slides.
I also have two 18Lb Wascomats. I'm even considering replacing the slide with a drop.
